It began as a roadside 'stand' with a door propped up on 2 blocks holding a bushel basket of sweet corn. Our stand has evolved into a farm market, bakery, garden center, catering business sitting in the middle of our family's farm.
Theresa joined the Freund family in 1979 as a farmhand, took on the last name Freund in 1982 when she married the youngest son, Matthew and chose marketing over milking as she grew her family from 2 to 4 to 6. In 1995, Theresa moved her business operations from the front yard to the backyard where she now fills a 2 story post and beam red barn stocked with seasonal and local products.
And today, you’ll more than likely find Theresa’s youngest daughter, Rachel overseeing the greenhouse or managing the market. It’s truly a family affair.

thank you so much for the wonderful catering you provided for our 60th anniversary party. Our guests raved about the quality and freshness of all of the food . The brisket and baked beans were singled out for special praise. All of this goodness was not only delicious but provided at a very reasonable price. We will be happy to recommend you.
