FARM TOURS AT FREUND'S FARM MARKET
Welcome Back to School!
As you settle into the new school year, we would love to offer your class/group the opportunity to visit Freund’s Farm Market and Bakery and to tour a working farm!
During the tour, students will learn about the dairy industry, view the robotic milking machines and dairy barn, and learn about the sustainable practices that are in place at many farms. We will also explore the connection to dairy products that we consume in our daily lives. A light snack for students will be provided at the end of the tour while we debrief about the experience. These programs can be modified to fit the needs of your group as well as to adhere to your curriculum.
The cost of the trip is $10 per student (up to 2 chaperones are free).
We would love to host your group at the farm and are available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for tours during late September, the month of October, and early November. If these dates and times do not fit your needs, please contact us directly and we can work with you to coordinate your experience.
